Simple, transparent, privacy-first
The Short Version: RailTracker doesn't collect personal information. Location is only used locally to determine your region, and notification tokens are stored solely to send alerts you’ve opted into.
We don't collect personal information like your name or email. However, we collect minimal technical data to provide certain features:
If you enable location features like "Nearby Stations," your location is processed entirely on your device. Additionally, we use region-level location (e.g., country or city) to tailor app content. We never store or transmit your exact location to our servers.

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to share with third parties.
RailTracker is safe for all ages. We don't collect information from anyone, including children under 13. COPPA compliant.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have rights regarding personal data. Since we don't collect any, these rights don't apply—which is the best protection.

RailTracker may request access to your location only to enable relevant features like “Nearby Stations.” This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time via your device settings.
If you enable notifications, RailTracker generates a secure device token to send alerts (such as service disruptions). This token is stored solely for notification delivery and is not tied to your personal identity. You can revoke notification permissions at any time through your device settings.
